Oh I remember not telling my mum a stack of stuff, shifting to a new town, being bullied at the new school, getting beaten up and getting a black eye, lying about it... yep teenagers hide their worlds, some end up succumbing and roll into hopelessness and powerlessness, others fight back, others mange to evade and escape. Amelia- well which road does she take, Mum needs to find out, but she is just not sure?
